Magic Power Coffee Continues To Be Marketed After FDA Disapproval

The food and drug administration had recalled the "all natural coffee aphrodisiac". However, the internet sites continue to market the Magic Power Coffee.

The product claims to increase the sexual performance. The distributors are reportedly recalling the product in the wake of orders issued by the FDA. According to FDA, the ingredients of the product is similar to that of Viagra.

According to lab analysis conducted by FDA, the product comprises hydroxythiohomosildenafil that has a structural similarity with Sildenafil, which is a drug used for curing male Erectile Dysfunction (ED).

The Magic coffee was unapproved because hydroxythiohomosildenafil was not mentioned on the label of the product.

This substance is harmful as it may combine with nitrates, which are found in some prescription drugs. The combination may decrease the blood pressure to harmful levels.

People, who suffer from high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes or heart disease, usually take nitrates.

Magic Power Coffee Inc. of Brooklyn, NY disclosed that it is recalling its product countrywide. The coffee is marketed by many distributors and many of them are still offering the product.

The FDA revealed that up till now, no disease has occurred due to the consumption of the product.
