By playing tons of World of Warcraft, it has been seen that one can reach the acme, just where Stephen Gillett can be now seen. He has been the youngest person to be appointed as the Chief Information Officer on the Fortune 500.
Expressing his success story, Gillett said that nothing more than his leadership skills got him to that position. And these leadership qualities had been enhanced by frequently playing one of the guilds in the game, which also are a part of contribution to his hefty paychecks and nice suits.
Also, it has been seen that the personal life, beyond the game, is not neglected, nor the grinding across the world pays so much, just as this game. The ex-Boss of Gillett, John Hagel III said that there is a requirement of a high degree of influence among the guild leaders.
For this, he further added that they must go out on their own and sign up allies. After this, if they face any obstacles as a group, they should then exploit their complex strategies to overcome them. He said, "You have to be able to influence and persuade people-not order them to do things. Ordering people in most of these guilds doesn't get you far".
