The kids who are at a sensitive stage get traumatized with small level of disturbances and especially when it happens between the parents tends to get disturbed with such conditions.

It was further claimed that the violence between mother and her intimate partner pose less symptoms of trauma when compared to the above.

The traumatic situation turns up to be upsetting event that haunts throughout the life of the individual. It was seen that even small amount of threatening also resulted a severe stressed life.

It was an analysis done upon 532 children and their mothers who took part in the study.

A link between the intimate partner violence and trauma symptoms was established who hired communities from the urban Dallas area.

This research found space in "National Summit on Interpersonal Violence and Abuse Across the Lifespan: Forging a Shared Agenda in Dallas."
