NZ Post Backs Children’s Health Camps

New Zealand Post continued to extend its helping hand in backing Children's Health Camps being organized in New Zealand, with the issue of its 81st edition children's health stamps on 7 July.

The annual stamps issue has hugely honored the precious contribution made by Children's Health Camps to New Zealand society.

Three beautifully tagged as "butterfly" stamps depict not only children's sensitiveness, but also their outstanding ability to get out of the most cumbersome situations and emerge as strong, independent individuals.

"Through our services, vulnerable children, like butterflies, transform themselves - benefiting from the services of a family-focused organization that honors their strengths and talents", Dr. Inkpen was quoted as saying.

Children's Health Camps have witnessed huge participation in New Zealand for more than 82 years, and includes sites across the country including Whangarei, Pakuranga, Gisborne, Rotorua, Otaki, Christchurch and Roxburgh.

The camps aim to assist the most vulnerable section of the society including children and families, who are facing potential biases and are rendered at a boosted risk of negative health, education and welfare outcomes.
