Google’s New Telecommunication Service Now Available to U.S. Residents

It has been reported that the new free telecommunication service started by Google Inc. can now be accessed by all the citizens of the United States. The service has been named as Google Voice.

Google Voice is the best method to check and see voicemail messages. The messages are automatically stored in the Google’s servers and the person can even receive the messages through his cell phone.

Whenever the person has a missed call, Google Voice records the voice communication in the form of words. It then sends the same recorded message to him through e-mail or by SMS.

If the person is already using Gmail, then he will be given a privilege. The person can add contacts in his Gmail account’s contacts list through his callers. This will help the Gmail users to have regular contact with his callers.

The users have also been given two different alternatives by Google to make use of their new service. The first option is of call forwarding.

Through this method, a person is not required to change his existing landline or mobile phone numbers. He can set Google Voice on his existing phone numbers.

Other alternative provided by Google is to change the already existing landlines and mobile phone numbers. By doing this, Google itself will give the person a Google Voice number through which he can get all the voice messages on one single number.

Google is also providing conference calling and call blocking and many other features in its second alternative.
