Upgraded 2011 Mercedes Benz CL-Class Unveiled

Mercedes-Benz intends to make that weekend special for you by introducing the upgraded 2011 CL-Class at the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The certified pictures have revealed that the new model has received delicate upgrades on the outside; however, the German automaker does not seem to be under stress with the performance standards, as the car already comes well equipped with new and powerful engines.

The 2011 CL-Class features new headlights and LED lighting on the bumper, a modified grille, new tail lights, and a sportier exhaust system.

The interiors also remain more or less the similar, apart from a few additional wood trim on top of the COMAND controller.

The more interesting features are placed under the hood of the updated 2011 CL. To start, the 2011 CL550 4Matic gets a twin-turbocharged 4.7-liter gasoline, direct-injection V8, capable of generating 429 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque.

Mated to a seven-speed adaptive automatic conduction, the engine propels the car from zero to 60 in just 4.9 seconds and returns 23% reduction in CO2 emissions and an upgrading of up to 15% in fuel economy.

Next is the 2011 CL63 AMG with a new twin-turbo 5.5-liter GDI V8, fitted with an AMG MCT gearbox that jointly mass-produce 536 hp and 590 lb-ft.
