A playable demonstration of menacing turn-based fancy title, Disciples III has been launched today, which lets players to put on their human, elf or demon hats and test a full initial mission for each of these groups.

It's quite a bulky creature, clocking in at 3.7 GB, so ensure that you've got either a competent connection or a bit of time to keep aside, if you do plan to download it.

Incongruously, this demo is not at the time of writing that is available from the game's own authorized site.

Kalypso Media and Akella have released a playable demonstration of Disciples III: Renaissance, which is now obtainable in the UK, solely for PC. The game is going to be launched in North America, on July 13.

In Disciples III: Renaissance, the player takes on the position of a Lord of one of the unbelievable races of Nevendaar in their lasting fight to establish the sovereignty of their respective God over the whole world.

Seasoned with surprises and catchy-spins, the story of the world of Nevendaar is played against a solemn setting and that comes in a dramatic style that has players to want more of it.

It is being developed by .dat, Disciples III: Renaissance makes use of .dat's in-house Virtual Dream engine, which supports all contemporary 3D technologies.
