Out of the total units that were introduced at 368 Thomson on Thomson Road in Singapore's prime District 11 residential enclave, more than 80% of them have been snapped up. 368 Thomson is a freehold residential development from City Developments Limited (CDL).
The developer said that the requirement for an iconic 36-storey tower for 157 residences has been overwhelming. At an average price of S$1,350 (US$977.50) per sqft, 96 units out of the total 120 have been snapped up. These were launched in Phase 1.
For the one-plus-study units, the apartments range from S$918,000 (US$665,000) to S$4.4 million (US$3.18 million) for the five bedroom penthouses. Since the demand is rising rapidly, therefore, CDL has now planned to launch more units to cater the need.
Out of all the purchasers of 368 Thomson, majority of them are Singaporean, and the Permanent Residents and foreigners from Malaysia, Indonesia, China and Hong Kong, comprise 25% of the population.
CDL's Group General Manager, Mr. Chia Ngiang Hong, said, "The strong demand for 368 Thomson is testimony to the popularity and attraction of the prime Thomson Road vicinity. Buyers will benefit from the growth cluster in the area, comprising CDL's new developments The Arte and more recently, Cube 8".
