Professor Winston Byblow stressed that is very important to train the brain for the development of physical movements and to make it re-learn some movements.

Experts are very happy with the results of the study and feel that this can help make an important difference in the lives of the patients, who have suffered a stroke. They feel that people who have suffered from other head injuries can also benefit from this research.

The study and its results have also been documented in the latest issue of the medical journal Stroke.

People, who participated in the study, were also provided with magnetic stimulation before undergoing rehabilitation for improving body functions. Patients undergoing magnetic stimulation reported an improvement in their physical rehabilitation test.

The study's results have already encouraged the Neurological Foundation of New Zealand to start a study to further explore the findings of this study.
