The investor Brian Myerson of South Africa has been banned from further deals in the financial services of UK by the Takeover Panel. He is not the only person to be banned, there are other two people facing the three-year ban.
According to the reports these three people had made an agreement to operate the Principal Capital Investment Trust in the month of March last year. Then Mr. Myerson was elected as the head of the fund by the shareholders.
All of them are completely banned now from any financial dealings in UK, which is called as "cold shouldered".
In the time period of three-year ban they will not be allowed to make any business deal with any Financial Services Authority (FSA) registered person.
That means they would not be able to do any business in the financial services sector of UK. According to the watchdog panel Mr. Myerson and his two partners Brian Padgett and Daniel Posen had done the mistake intentionally and they were well known about their profits.
But the investor Brian Myerson said that he did not involve in any wrong doing and he would appeal in the court against this decision.
