Modu 1, the World’s Lightest Mobile Phone

Modu phone is the world’s lightest and slimmest mobile phone ever made, according to the Guinness World Book of Record.

Manufactured by the Israeli Company, Modu Ltd., the mobile phone is 43 grams in weight, with dimensions of 72.1 x 37.6 x 7.8 mm.

This phone is hitting the UK markets, with a 2 GB memory capacity, 1.3 inch display screen, MP3 player and Bluetooth.

According to purelygadgets website, the expected price of Modu 1 is £130.

The tiny hand-held mobile phone was first seen in February 2008 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

The Modu 1 is lighter than the newly-released iPhone 4 and is almost as slim as a credit card.
