Firefox Home in for iPhone and iPod Touch

Apple has given a nod for Mozilla’s Firefox Home to be used in case of iPod Touch and iPhone devices, reports the Telegraph.

The report claims that Firefox Home, had posted an approval for the submission on 30 June. According to the proposal users can easily synchronize their history, bookmarks and recently opened tabs on their systems with the help of their Apple gadgets.

Jay Sullivan, a senior executive at Mozilla on its official blog posted, “Firefox enables hundreds of millions of people all over the world to each have a web experience that’s unique, they can make Firefox look and feel the way they want with add-ons and personas.”

In further addition to these people who wish to access the net from their mobile phones can have their user experience to be more personal, portable and privacy-protected in lieu with developers.

Users on the other hand need to install the Firefox Sync add-on to their personal computers in order to employ the usage of the application and thus gel along with the bookmarks and passwords between the desktop and their Apple devices.

Firefox Home can be availed from iTunes app store.
