Recently, a consumer asked for a test drive of Grande Punto but a Sumo Grande reached his doorstep for the test drive. While the dealer said he was very confused about the incident, there are a handful of other cases also where consumers say that the workforce push for Tata Motors products more when one inquire about the Fiat products.
The CEO of the Indian operations of the company, Rajeev Kapoor also agreed very recently that the unit sales are lower as it was initially set as targets by the company. However, the company is now trying to make its brand more visible to the consumer and hence is trying to use the marketing tool to push its sales in the Indian market.
