Rumours of an engagement between Brazilian uber-model Gisele Bundchen, 28, and footballer Tom Brady, 31, were rampant, however, weeks after the story hit the tabloids, Brady's manager confirmed to People magazine that the two will be tying the knot, after all.

Apparently, Friday night, Brady proposed to Bundchen over dinner, presenting her with a diamond solitaire ring. No one knows, whether he asked on bended knee, however, what is confirmed is that she has accepted. As everyone waits for the official announcement, what we do know is that Bundchen, together with a few close friends will be in charge of planning the wedding details.

Rumours say it is going to be a spring wedding, a large fashionista event, perhaps, in Costa Rica , where Bundchen is said to have a home. Bundchen and Brady, who became inseparable after they began dating each other in 2006, have shared the good news with their friends and family, though their representatives not yet released any official notice.

A first marriage for both, Bundchen met Brady in 2005, soon after ending her long-time relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio,. As for Brady, he was involved in a romantic relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan, but shortly after meeting Bundchen, he and a pregnant Moynahan parted ways. Brady's son, John Edward Thomas with Moynahan was born in August 2007.
