The results of the National Patient Safety Agency inspections were revealed ranking Essex County Hospital and Colchester General Hospital "excellent" in terms of cleanliness, food and dignity.
Also the Fryatt Hospital at the Main Road, Dovercourt was rated excellent for the food and it received "good" for dignity and environment.
On the other hand, Clacton District Hospital, in Tower Road bagged "excellent" and "good" for dignity and environment respectively.
The results were welcomed by Peter Murphy, Chief Executive of Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr. Murphy credited the staff's hard work for the grades and said that it is not just because of the staff members, but it is also the result of the work of people who did it just for "catering and cleaning Company Carillion".
As Mr. Murhy and Interim Chairman Sir Peter Dixon will be resigning by next month, Mr. Murphy said that he hopes that the new Chairman and the Chief Executive will be having the same passion for improvement and that the same remains true for the staff as well.
Expressing his joy over the results, John Mills, Head of the Clacton and Harwich hospitals at NHS North East Essex, shared that operating a hospital is a real team work and that it is a matter of pride that the hospital is having a perfect team with a system that makes sure that no loopholes are left.
