As per a new research conducted in the UK, obese men suffer from low confidence levels in the bedroom. About 5,000 men were asked questions pertaining to the unattractiveness, they were suffering from. About 34% shared that they were unable to initiate sex with their partner, as they considered themselves not handsome.
About one out of six men shared that lack of self-belief in their appearance has an impact on their confidence in bed. About one fourth of the men surveyed, wanted to lose weight in order to increase their bedroom performance levels.
With an average body type, the couples will be able to perform sex in different positions, which is almost impossible, if either of the two is fat.
Tracey Cox, who is a sex and relationship expert, said, “What’s clear from the research is that it’s not just women who suffer from ‘fat days’ and low self esteem in the bedroom, men are also affected by the same issues”.
The health Company, Pfizer, has launched ‘Man Monday Opportunity to Talk’ along with leading UK health organizations, to help solve the issue. Tracey Cox revealed that men should not be left suffering in silence. Open surgery sessions will be run by Man MOT every Monday. It will be hosted by a lot of specialist sexual health clinics.
Dr. Berkeley Phillips, Medical Director at Pfizer added that there are a lot of men who are ignoring their GP and are not getting their problems treated in time.
