KEM’s Cleanliness Drive Inspires Nair and Sion Hospitals

The staff of KEM hospital is on a cleanliness drive, these days. They are tired of telling the people to stop throwing trash on the premises of the hospital. Therefore, this move has been undertaken in order to encourage the people to dispose the liter properly.

The employees of the hospital cleaned the drains and swept the floors. The senior doctors, accompanied by nurses and Class IV employees scrubbed guthka from the walls of the hospital.

Positive responses have already started flowing in from all sides because of their efforts as some relatives of patients have vowed to keep the area clean.

Dean of KEM Hospital, Dr. Sanjay Oak, cleaned the casualty area of the hospital. He also said that the hospital staffs, who want to participate in this activity, are free to help from 7.30am to 11 am. The drive will last till September11.

The staff has inspired many other hospitals who have started a similar cleanliness drive. These hospitals include Nair and Sion Hospitals.

The Deans of these hospitals disclosed that they want their staff to participate in the efforts of cleaning the hospital. Dr Ravi Rananware, Dean of Nair Hospital said that they are making different plans to promote cleanliness in the hospital premises.
