At a news conference, held on Wednesday in Tokyo, Panasonic Corporation, the Japanese electronics manufacturer and provider, announced the launch of two 3D camcorders. These two camcorders, models TM750 and TM650, would be the first 3D video cameras and recorders in the world, available for the professional, as well as, the non-professional consumers.
Panasonic have not estimated a definite price for the camcorders yet, but rumors are rife that the camcorders are going on retail for $1,399.95. The Company confirmed that the two cameras will be presented for sale in the Japanese markets by the 20th of August.
This news comes after the low pitched success achieved by the HDC-SDT750, a 3D camcorder released earlier by Panasonic for professional purposes.
In addition to capturing the already-known high-definition images and the 2D videos, the two breakthrough camcorders are manufactured to fit the public use interested in recording three-dimensional videos, using an attachable
3D lens. This conversion lens is almost as big as the camcorder itself, and it is capable of creating a stereoscopic videos. The camcorders are also privileged with a variety of features and services that ensure the customer’s satisfaction with the newly released devices.
The 3D videos captured by the new camcorders would be viewed on a 3D television.
