Microsoft Endeavors to Upgrade Security Standards
Microsoft Endeavors to Upgrade Security Standards

On July 29, Microsoft made another competitive move by declaring its partnership with more software vendors and security researchers to ensure better safety to its customers at the Black Hat security conference in Las Vegas. The step is a consequence of the security threat issues that were boggling Microsoft few months back.

The new team of researchers and vendors will be working for finding solutions to avoid Windows vulnerability, so as the threats get detected at an early stage and before the attack of hackers. The threats would be revealed to the public only in extreme cases and that too with sheer responsibility.

A few months back, the Microsoft’s Windows were detected threatened against security as hackers assaulted them. Since then, a debate is being fumed over the disclosure of the Window’s vulnerability.

Microsoft is endeavoring to establish affiliation amid customers, software developers, and security vendors and making people gel with Microsoft Active Protections Program (MAPP). MAPP upgrades security standards and reduces the risk of assault.

Mike Reavey, Director of the Microsoft Security Response Center at Microsoft, stated that Adobe is also joining MAPP.

Microsoft will be launching another tool in August known as EMET (Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit) to shield third-party applications and Windows from new threats.
