Motorola Hits Back at Apple's Mocking Advertisement for Droid X

Adding to the troubles of the Apple Inc. in the wake of its iPhone 4 antenna controversy, Motorola has released an advertisement in a national newspaper mocking the former’s antenna issue in the latest phone.

Motorola’s move appears to be a revengeful response to Apple’s act of satirizing Droid X antenna via a video.

The advertisement appearing in the newspaper today carried the title ‘No Jacket Required’.

The text read, “At Motorola, we believe a customer shouldn't have to dress up their phone for it. That's why the DROID X comes with a dual antenna design”.

It further mentioned that the droid design allows the users to hold the phone the way they want and in a specific way.

Meanwhile, Apple uploaded a video mocking the Droid X smartphone antenna, showing that Droid X has antenna problems.

It is the second time Motorola has published such an advertisement. In its previous ad, it repeatedly projected that the Droid users are allowed to hold it in any way, i. e. from all directions.

It was here that Apple released the advertisement mocking Droid’s antenna. The round of mocking seems to be continuing.
