Condoms for Gays with Extra Lubrication
HIV infections

As the HIV infections are increasing at an alarming rate these days in India, especially among homosexuals, condoms will soon be introduced for them, by one of India's leading condom manufacturers. The problems faced by homosexuals while indulging in gay sex were analyzed by the condom manufacturer's Family Planning Promotion Trust along with National AIDS Control Organization.

Sex couples do not use condoms during intercourse, for they feel uncomfortable, as per the preliminary feedback. The 'gay condom' is coming up with extra lubrication, as it will be meant for anal sex and not vaginal sex.

An Executive from the Company's family planning trust shared that the process of developing the product is still under progress. He said, “As far as the costing goes, we are still unsure if it must be sold in the socially marketed category or in genera one. However, this concern is secondary to product development”.

The new condom will be manufactured under the name Spice Up. Homosexuals will welcome these kinds of condoms. Even the couples who get engaged in anal sex would go for it.

Sexologist Dr. Prakash Kothari shared that a condom with extra lubrication will be beneficial for such couples.
