Proper Tests Reduce the Number of Prostate Cancer Cases

In Australia, a total of 170 bikers attended the International Prostate Cancer Conference to support the launch of nation-wide campaign on prostate cancer.

Authorities of the Prostate Cancer Foundation, Australia, are requesting people to come forward to host barbecues in the month of September for raising money for the prostate cancer victims.

The event’s spokesperson said that prostate cancer is a serious problem and not much attention is given to it as compared to other diseases like breast cancer.

Each year, around 3,300 men die from prostate cancer. In Australia, the number of men dying from prostate cancer is much higher than people dying from breast cancer.

The conference highlighted the fact that men should get their prostate tests done on time. The research report also mentions that proper tests have improved the survival rates by 44%.

At the conference, men were also told to have a positive attitude after the treatment. And they should stick to proper medication prescribed by their physicians in order to improve their sex life.

More than 1,000 delegates from all over the world attended the conference.
