Plastic Logic seems to be more in love with ProReader, which is why, it has repeatedly been delaying its focus on Que ereader.
An announcement has come from the firm, where it stated that it was officially calling off Que ereader, only because it intends to keep its focus on the second generation ProReader product.
The shift has been made as the ereader market has been facing a lot of competition in the most recent times and its prices have also seen a deteriorating scenario.
Plastic Logic CEO, Richard Archuleta, while giving a statement said that the firm was in plans to take vital steps necessary to enter the market again because it is trying to refocus and retool the next generation ProReader.
Making this decision was not at all easy, but it had to be made for the betterment of the firm, he said.
Initially, the firm had planned to ship the Que ereader in the month of April, but then the Company called off its plans and then decided to launch the product until the summer of 2010. Then in June, the decision was made to cancel the launch.
Plastic Logic made an announcement that the Que would be offered at a price of $649.
