Apple’s latest smartphone is likely to cost £595 for the 32GB handset and £495 for the 16GB model, without the contract from O2, who has just declared that it intends to sell the iPhone 4 on PAYG.
Vodafone too offered its customers a year’s free mobile net and wi-fi data. And in addition to this, 1GB of wi-fi via BT Openzone together with 250MB of data per month. Vodafone is selling the iPhone 4 at £480 and £570 for the
16GB and 32GB versions correspondingly.
O2, the fourth Mobile phone network after Orange, Vodafone and Tesco Mobile, on the other hand, has decided to present 300 free texts and 500MB of mobile data to all the customers who top up £10 per month. O2 has, however, yet not hinted about free internet for 12 months or unlimited Wi-Fi, like the others.
Vodafone and Tesco are reportedly running out pg\f stocks and the customers will hence have to wait a little for stocks to alleviate. O2 whereas has a good stock in hand, for it has maybe learnt from Vodafone’s experience that the whole stock is likely to be sold within 24 hours. It too is said to have the next-gen smartphone in stock.
