Samsung Galaxy S smartphone feature GPS issues

For all GPS freaks, there is a real dampener. As it, is reported, that the Samsung Galaxy S smartphone has a big time GPS problems. This prevents its users from getting a precise lock on the location.

However realising the problem the company has committed to solve the problem at the earliest through its phone updates to be released in September.

Interestingly looking deeply, even the company’s other handsets including the Samsung Vibrant and the Samsung Captivate also have similar issues. And the updates will be extended to these phones as well.

However the Epic 4G do not host any GPS problem as both the network assisted (indoor) and outdoor GPS sync well with the phone. This has been testified by internal test as well by an official statement from Samsung.

The problems in its existing handsets are twosome. The first is about the failure to point the location of the users and the second one is related to the GPS circuitry. As the software related to the GPS is not working in the right manner.

Apparently it seems to be a minor glitch in the phone but no concrete solutions have appeared in the light to fix it up.
