Today the Microsoft's Russian Web site published information regarding new software that would be completing the series of Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) User Interface, the recently announced software, which offers new features as quick-release tabs and a feature that, resembles that of Chrome’s address-cum-search bar.
The new IE9 will have a back button, a combined URL and search box at the top, in addition to the well-known "Favorites, "Suggested Sites," and "Get More Add-Ons". This information became available through Microsoft watcher and ZDNet blogger, Mary-Jo Foley.
She added that users would have the advantage of going directly from their Windows task bar to "recognized" or "protected" sites. Moreover, the new software would be offering, "tear-off tabs" which utilize Aero Snap in Windows, which is a similar service as that in Firefox and Safari, to view pages side by side.
On the Russian Microsoft website, Company’s executives said, "Your browser is not overloaded with navigation elements, and compared with other browsers leaves more space for the site. Now the user sees only what is necessary for navigation".
The IE9's user interface will resemble Google's Chrome, according to the details obtained from Microsoft Russia's web site.
