It has been discovered by a recent poll by the Institute of Advanced Motorists that almost 70% of the driving population found themselves in a road rage while driving. The online poll came up with the figure that about 7 drivers out of 10 were affected by road rage, especially when they were behind the wheels. The polls also came up with other very interesting answers.
It was reported that the drivers also had other habits which were just as infuriating. It was revealed that while 28% of the drivers had the habit of tailgating other drivers, 22% of the drivers had the most dangerous habit of using mobile phones while they are behind the wheel. Another habit that was revealed was hogging of the middle lane, which is seen in more than 15% of the drivers.
Managing the “red mist” is something that all drivers have to learn, especially if they had long commutes, which could become very tiresome and stressful. Under such irritation and stress due to other drivers on the road, there are a lot of possibilities for the abilities and driving skills of the driver to be put under threat, which could even become fatal.
