The chip designer giant, AMD is speculated to be in pursuit of launching its name on a big new podium. The technology giant is in plans to unveil a big campaign to launch its processors into the market again.
Looking back, AMD has always attempted to tap the low-cost laptop market and hence was a hard hit by the new netbook revolution that emerged recently. However, the Company failed to generate robust results in the low-cost laptop sector also midst of huge pressure by its rival Intel.
For those concerned about AMD's first initiative towards its attempt to launch a server push, Bulldozer, which is presently been hyped by the IT press seems to be its next spearhead.
However, one cannot ignore that it needs a lot for a product to pose when a major giant as Intel is dominating the server market.
Besides, Intel is revealed to trigger a few plans on that platform concerning its Atom chip that might lure customers towards it, thereby giving a tough push to AMD.
But, the tech press is hoping a lot from the Bulldozer, and speculates AMD to grab a new image with its new technology. Moreover, AMD seems to have learnt a lot from its previous market encounters and would surely be able to fetch success.
