Boston Scientific Joins Hands with Kirk Herbstreit National Kickoff Classic

Kirk Herbstreit National Kickoff Classic is reported to have conglomerated with Boston Scientific for Close the Gap campaign. The ‘Close the Gap’ campaign had always been organized by Boston Scientific, but this year the event will climb a step further.

"We're proud to assist in the Close the Gap initiative to raise awareness of heart disease risk factors. We support the effort, and urge everyone to learn more about how they can protect themselves and their loved ones from developing this condition”, posted, Kirk Herbstreit, the event founder.

The campaign aims to make people aware of the various risk factors associated with cardiovascular disease for women and minorities.

Hailing to serve as an informative initiative towards educating, and strengthening communities and individuals towards cardiovascular care for women, black Americans and Latino Americans, the campaign is one of its kinds in the nation.

The whole event is slated to staff an educational booth at the Cowboys Stadium on September 6, 2010.

Cardiovascular issues are deemed to be a major cause of deaths in the U. S. and in Texas. Heart diseases involving heart attacks, strokes, high blood pressure, etc. are linked to over 26% of the deaths witnessed by the nation.
