Hewlett Packard has raised its bid price to takeover the data control company 3PAR with an offer of 1.8 billion dollars to beat its rival Dell in this bidding battle.
HP has taken this step as Dell has launched an offer of 1.6 billion dollars to take over 3PAR on Monday and the amount of the deal was higher than the previous bid of HP for the same.
But after offering the 1.8 billion deals, HP has said that its offer was superior to Dell and it was also in a better position than its rival to execute the deal.
Earlier Dell has said that its deal with 3PAR would give a big sharp boost to the growth of the data storage firm.
But as a reply to this statement of Dell, HP has commented its offer was superior to Dell's in every aspect. Mr. Dave Donatelli of HP has said the company is in a great position to use and develop the data storage firm 3PAR.
