Jenny Fagg to Be Absent from Office on Health Grounds
Jenny Fagg

One of the best ranked female executives in Australia, Jenny Fagg has decided to remain absent from her office since she needs to recover from breast cancer.

Ms. Fagg had been managing ANZ’s unit in New Zealand, ANZ National Bank of New Zealand for almost 2 years where she resumed a position in the bank as an heir to Chief, Mike Smith, given that it accounted for almost 20% of earnings for the bank.

Sir Dryden Spring, National Bank Chair, while giving a statement, said that everyone loved Jenny a lot and was also liked by the ANZ family and the board, so all forwarded wishes for a speedy health recovery for her so that she can be fit again.

Ms. Fagg and her sibling, Catherine, both earned a name for themselves at ANZ, which happened prior to Catherine’s move to hold a senior level position at Bluescope. Now she works for Linfox.

It was almost six weeks ago that Jenny had been diagnosed with breast cancer and the decision taken by her to rest so as to recover was absolutely apt.

Her place in office will be taken by her Deputy, Steven Fyfe.
