After being detained under the charge of possession of cocaine on Friday, Hollywood actress and member of the glitterati Paris Hilton was set free by the police authorities in Las Vegas. While her attorney commented that the case would be dispensed with in the courts of law and the media should prevent people from jumping to conclusions and their own verdicts about the matter before all the specifics have been looked into by the courts.

This is the second consecutive time the actress has been detained and charged on the same ground in the past two months, the first time being in the month of July in South Africa after one of the games of the Soccer World Cup where she was under arrest on the doubt of retaining marijuana.

While rumors are out that Hilton has denied accepting that she owned the purse from which the packet of cocaine dropped the other night while the officials were taking to her after suspecting drug intake activities from the smoke.

While her counselor has refrained from any further remarks or talks, her promoters have also done the same.
