Tameka "Tiny" Cottle got arrested along with her husband T.I., on for having on her some controlled substance. After the arrest, she tweeted to her fans showing gratitude for their e-support.

She tweeted on 2nd September, Thursday showing gratitude and love to her fans that have been leaving her encouraging messages and prayers following her arrest. She tweeted this before going to sleep at night. Tameka and her new husband were arrested by the police in Los Angeles after stopping T.I. (born Clifford Harris Jr.) at around 10:30 p.m. for taking a U-turn which was not legally allowed in his Maybach. On nearing the vehicle, the officers got the scent of marijuana coming from the car, and on a search of the passengers and the car, found an unspecified number of ecstasy resembling pills.

Despite having company in the car that night, only T.I. and Tiny were arrested by the police, leaving the remaining passengers uncharged. The couple was bailed $10,000 bail each and was let off on early Thursday morning. They are to be brought to court on 3rd September.
