After facing fierce competition for grabbing a major project, New South Wales Health has selected George Patterson Y&R, Sydney to be its chief creative agency.
The other Companies that were also in the row for the project include M&C Saatchi and Ogilvy & Mather. The said agency made a move ahead of them and gained victory of attaining the project, which will be introduced later this year.
As per the new system adopted by NSW health, all its advertising related activities will be performed by GP Y&R. In the traditional system, the task was being carried out assigning projects.
The agency will boost up the campaigns of NSW Health run to check smoking, obesity, drug and alcohol use and stress by improving the publicity activities and thus, adding to the benefits of public agendas to improve public health.
It has been conducting campaigns against smoking and unprotected sex. Such latest events include campaigns like 'Don't Let Drugs Use You', 'Sexually Transmissible Infections' and 'No Smoking in Cars with Children'.
Also, NSW Health carries out tasks that motivate people to keep health in a good state, which includes good nutrition, exercising, healthy environments and supportive relationships.
