CFIA Issues Warning against E. Coli Tainted Meat

People are being warned against eating raw beef, which they may have bought from North York store, by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, since the meat might be tainted with strains of E. Coli.

Officers form CFIA are of the say that the warning is applicable on all cut raw beef, which comprises beef chunks, tenderloin and ground beef, that was sold on 6th August, from Kabul Farms retail house at 40 Beverly Hills DR.

There may be no packaging date on the wrappers, in which the beef products had been packed, and this is why, CFIA is demanding people to be careful before they consume the meat that maybe strained with E. Coli.

The recall has arrived in the midst of an epidemic of E. Coli that sprung up in Ontario, which is undergoing investigation, that is carried out by Ministries of health and agriculture.

Meat that has been tainted with E. Coli might look and smell perfectly fine, but consuming it might be risky, and in serious cases, this could lead to life-endangering illnesses.

Symptoms comprise extreme stomach pain and bloody diarrhea. A few might experience seizures or strokes or might also require blood transfusions and kidney dialysis.
