Mafia II Escapes from Boring Driving; Threatens its Rivalries

This time, Mafia has made an attempt to get a bit of action from its competitor GTA. But for this, it did not take the latter's settings, however, it rather cut a slot in the market, and made itself perfect on the classic Sicilian crime families and those wheeling and also the death pacts.

And yes, it did become successful in its attempt, thus being away from a lot of those monotonous driving between the same old missions giving no thrilled exposure into the real extreme world. And well, this time, it has been reported that the Mafia II is sitting pretty well with the 2K Games.

Besides this, the Chart Track this week also noted some more changes in the UK all-format video game chart. This time, Mafia II, with its machine guns and horse's heads, has made itself number one and has given a major challenge to the rest of its rivalries.

Taking place between 1943 and 1951, players in Mafia II will be controlling Vito Scaletta, who is a Sicilian immigrant and he finishes getting along with the wrong crowd and thus, is drawn into the Mafioso lifestyle. He had earlier been under a stint in the Army during World War II.
