Wanda Rodriguez, who is 41 years old and works as a head nurse at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, was ecstatic to know that a new patient who has been admitted to the hospital happens to be her father.

She came to know about him when she heard a doctor talking about Victor Peraza while conversing with someone on phone.  She said that she almost froze when she heard the name.

Wanda said that after the separation of her parents she didn’t get a chance to meet her father. She also said that she can’t wait to see her father and rushed towards his room.

After meeting with her father, she asked if he was fine. She also asked how many children he has. Her father said that he has two daughters named Gina and Wanda. As soon as she heard her name, she got emotional and went out of his room.

When she came to know that the hospital supervisor wanted to shift her father in another room, she protested.

After sometime, she again went to her father’s room and told all about herself. The father replied that he knew that she was her daughter.

She talked with her father for hours and told everything about her husband and three grandchildren whom he has never met. She also said that this is the best moment of her life.
