Lessons Learnt Disclosed by BP

On Friday, BP PLC divulged a number of lessons that it has learnt while it tried to trouble-shoot the oil spill catastrophe in the U. S. Gulf of Mexico and said that it would let the industry gather knowledge regarding coping up with any disaster of that sort in a better and faster way because of the experience that it has had.

The firm while offering its 46-page report, prepared for the main U. S. offshore drilling watchdog said that these advances could possibly offer an initial discussion on how to institutionalize the improved abilities and make sure that they were active, so that, they could deal with marine oil spill that is of any size or volume.

A Spokesperson from BP said that the report’s goal was to offer early highlights on the a few vital lessons that have been learnt during the oil spill disaster that took place.

It is for the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement that the report had been prepared.

This recent 20th April rig claimed 11 lives and became one of the worst and biggest oil spills in the history of the United States.

Along with this, the firm said that at present, no oil flowing from the well was seen in the Gulf of Mexico.
