Almost 3.5 million Tube travelers will be facing a massive turmoil in the upcoming week since no less than 10,000 subway workers of all class and levels are going to stage strikes concerning job cuts.

Boris Johnson, London Mayor has brought in 100 additional buses and 500 berth boats that are going to help 10,000 people in a day to commute down the River Thames and reach and come back from their work to their own places.

RMT General Secretary, Bob Crow, while giving a statement yesterday said that the union was ready to carry out talks and negotiate upon demands given that they can be considered and further action is on, where members are trying to finalize on picket lines all across the network.

The walkout or strike relating 800 jobs and limited hours for ticket officers will be commencing on 6th September since discussions could not be carried out further in the week.

This strike is going to cost the budget 48 million Pounds, as informed by London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Ever since the year 2002, this strike will mark the fourth of its kind to shut down the London Underground.

Picket lines are going to be supervised all through the main stations and the movement will cause disruption throughout the Tube network.
