Accumulation of brain ‘rust’, which is being cited as the Alzheimer’s disease, is what has been claimed by the Australian scientists, who are of the say that they have made a leap into the scrutiny of the condition.
The major root cause of the denigrating disease is sourced to the imbalance that is struck in the metals that are required for healthy functioning of the brain and the researchers have been able to find it.
Professor of Pathology at the University of Melbourne, Ashley Bush and his contemporaries have been able to identify the imbalance to the brain’s improper and concerning dispensation of iron and zinc.
The details of the study will be published in the impressive international journal ‘Cell’ during the concluding parts of the year.
Professor Bush informed AAP on Monday that the brain is a catastrophe when talking of Alzheimer’s disease and it is very tricky to highlight that what could have gone wrong with the brain at first place.
Since the two metals are related to the condition, the research has been able to unravel gigantic successions of traces and hidden points relating the two metals.
Prof. Bush said that it would take another three years to offer solid ‘product’ concerning the condition and relationship with the two metals.
