A new study is warning that if a person is not immune to allergies, then most probably, the person runs a higher chance of developing heart problems.

As per the findings of the most recent study, most common allergies such as sneezing, wheezing and watery eyes, increase the risk of heart problems.

But at the same time, researchers stressed to the fact that these allergies did not cause heart disease.

Researchers at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in order to understand the relationship between most common form of allergies and heart disease, they gathered details on 8,600 adults belonging to the age group of 20 and over.

They all partook in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey that took place between the years 1988 and 1994.

By and large, 18% of the volunteers in the study showed symptoms of sneezing and 46% informed about frequent sessions of blocked nose and watery eyes, which is medically recognized as rhinoconjunctivitis.

Researchers informed that 13% of wheezing patients witnessed heart disease, and 4% of individuals with any kind of allergic symptoms had been diagnosed with heart problems.

The researchers said that added study was necessary concerning the same to firmly establish a conclusion.
