U. S. President Barack Obama has unveiled his new plans for the development of the country today. The President has announced that his government has decided to spend at least $50 billion for the development work. This amount will be utilized in expanding and renewing the roads, railways and airports of the country.

It will undoubtedly a bold decision at the time of such economic condition. However, Mr. Obama has said that such programs will fire up sluggish economic growth in the country. One of the senior White House officials has said that the new projects are not going to increase the deficit further.

Meanwhile, some of the media have reported that the President is under immense pressure due to the upcoming election. The mid-term congressional elections will be held in the month of November in this year. The Democrats are in fear of loss in this election and such decision is the result of this fear.

The report suggests that the Democrats are apprehending that they may face a heavy loss in the coming election and they have decided to through such funding speeches.
