The Government health officers are skeptical about the safe usage of chemical bisphenol-A, or BPA. Many believe that BPA is not harmful, but many studies show that it can be harmful for human beings.

BPA is a toxic chemical that is used in many food and drink containers, plastic bottles, baby bottles, and many other products.

In a study, the scientists also found that the children who receive dental sealant to fill up their cavities can be exposed to BPA.

Abby Fleisch, who is a pediatrician at Children’s Hospital Boston, said that the substance used in sealants becomes BPA, when it touches saliva.

The medical experts are not very clear about the quantity of BPA that a body absorbs. They are also unsure of the effects of the BPA on the body parts.

Many states have ordered not to use BPA in children’s products. Senator Dianne Feinstein is planning to come up with a newly revised food safety bill in order to ban the usage of the chemical in the whole country.

Retailers like Wal-Mart, Whole Foods, Sears, and CVS have decided to discontinue selling baby bottles that are made with BPA.

Nalgene, the maker of famous water bottles has also decided not to use BPA, after many people launched a complaint against the chemical.
