Job prospects turn dipper in US, says report

While the job prospects have shown significant improvement in the countries like China and other emerging nations, the same cannot be said about that of US. The hiring outlook of the country, says a report published by Manpower Inc, too is very dim.

The report which is based on the abstracts generated by interviewing employers has said that the general trend even today in US is to cut jobs and not add them. But, of course, it is better than last year.

The net employment outlook that was seasonally adjusted was plus-5 and was slightly down from the plus-6 that was there during last quarter.

Manpower's survey, which is also considered to be a leading indicator of demand has shown that the demand world over is wary but in the developed nations the things are worse off. Above this there is the fear of coming up of double dip recession.

As per the report, the employment outlook is highest in China followed India and Taiwan.

China's has seen in the quarter its index goes up by 16 points during the last quarter which is the highest in the last 8 years.
