Twitter, the micro blogging platform has now reached to an unsurpassable height that boasts of more than 145 million users who mostly comprise of people who prefer mobile devices to connect with the portal.
Through a recently released report it was revealed that approximately 62 per cent increase in number of mobile users were reported on the platform since mid-April and approximately 16 percent of the recently added Twitter members make use of mobile applications to sign-up for the services.
Through a further released statement it was sited that nearly 16 per cent of new Twitter loggers use the mobile devices to sign-up for the service instead of vesting the actual home site.
Experts claim that mobile apps have a major hand in contributing towards the accessibility of Twitter. It was further stated that nearly eight per cent iPhone users and seven per cent BlackBerry users access Twitter from their respective apps.
In addition to the 145 milestone the company proclaimed that more than 300,000 Auth applications are available in the platform, a figure that has tripled since the dip from last Chirp conference.
