Microsoft spreads a word of IE8 on Bing

Microsoft with its small timed commercial on its home page of its search engine, asks users to level up their IE web browser to Internet Explorer 8.

The Bing home page now displays a tiny link in the right corner of the web page, hinting the Bing users about the latest and updated version of its web browser.

It is stated that the move has been initiated in regard of the latest campaign offered by Microsoft Corporation to end the reign of its decade old browser IE6, which is condemned by many of the industry insiders for many of the flaws and thus, offering a better and more secure version of IE.

Through a blog post Ryan Gavin, director at business and marketing division for IE posted: "Over the past several months, you have seen us talk about some ways we're helping customers get off IE6 and onto IE8 and soon IE9, coming in beta in just a few weeks and these efforts will continue."

Meanwhile the only issue remaining pertains to the proper briefing up gradation that comes with IE8. The IE8 is aimed to offer a better, smoother experience to businesses and the public sector.
