Samsung Planning to Integrate with Android OS

According to recent reports of Cnet, a time will come when the users would step into the market of Samsung model and would access the Android operating system through their HDTV.

The comments of Samsung’s TV Business Head, Yoon Boo Keun, were reported by Bloomberg. Keun had said that the Company is planning to incorporate the Android OS in its line of television.

The reports have shown that Keun has not taken any final decision about it, but if Samsung will not do the same, other Companies will surely try their hand in mixing.

According to the reports, similar announcements were made by the AT&T’s UVerse that it is planning to integrate with RIM Blackberry and Verizon.

This shows that industries are now focusing more on accessibility and mobility. This is not the first time that people hear about the relationships of Samsung’s line of televisions and Android, as in April it was reported by Korea Herald that one the executives of Samsung could make Google TVs running Android.

It has been anticipated that if Google can sign a deal with Samsung, it will be considered as the major victory for the Company.

Samsung is the top most TV manufacturer in the U.S, claiming that posses 19.7% of the market share.
