A healthcare firm has come with an offer for Chorley residents to get their BP checked for free while the Blood Pressure Association’s Your Numbers Week is on, which is going to take place from 13th September till 19th.
Adults are being encouraged to get information regarding their BP numbers by Buckshaw-based Synexus.
The centre, which is based at 24 Eaton Avenue, Matrix Park are providing the special blood pressure check camp from Monday till Friday, between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. It is recommended to make appointments well in advance before coming for check-ups.
Healthcare professionals all across Eastbourne are partaking in the event and are offering free BP check-ups at a number of venues all through the town.
Last year, when the Know you Numbers campaign started, 28% of populace that was examined suffered high blood pressure.
Executive Director of UK charity the Blood Pressure Association, Mike Rich said that one three adults suffer from high BP and just a quarter of them have an idea of the number of their blood pressure.
Since people are ignorant of the same, so they are being asked “Are you gambling with your health”?
At the opening hours at Day Lewis, 10 Freshwater Square, Willingdon, or Asda Pharmacy, The Crumbles, Pevensey Bay Road, Day Lewis, 2 Furness Road, Eastbourne, Newman Pharmacy, 82, Seaside, Eastbourne, the residents can go for check-up.
