Reality star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was in a New Jersey court yesterday as a part of the charges due to her arrest in July. She was arrested while the shoot for the 3rd season for `Seaside Heights' was on.

Besides imposing a fine of $500, Polizzi was ordered to perform community service. This was the punishment for having been disorderly on the beach in drunken state.

The judge has also added that Polizzi was rude and obnoxious and self-indulgent and did not know how to live her life.

Now, Snooki might not be innocent, but still in no way is she even remotely following Lindsay Lohan's path. Snooki is a part of a reality show and anybody on the show can vouchsafe that neither is she rude nor obnoxious.

In fact, she is one of the more endearing members on the show. Hating the show "Jersey Shore" does not mean one can be mean to its cast, since they are not really hurting anyone.

One has the discretion to not watch the show but the cast really doesn't deserve such vitriol.
