Symantec and Trend Micro have pronounced the latest versions for their security software offerings.
PC World states that Symantec has released Norton AntiVirus 2011 and Norton Internet Security 2011, on the other hand Trend Micro released its new product offerings under the brand name of Titanium AntiVirus and Titanium Internet Security.
The reports state that the latest offering of Symantec is comparatively faster and doesn't burden the system by lowering the speed of the system, which was likely the case in older versions.
The release comes in two offerings, where the usual AntiVirus comes at a price offering of $39.99 which can be installed on up to three personal computers, and Norton Internet Security comes with a price tag of $69.99. Norton Internet Security tags along major offerings such as firewall, antispam, identity protection and a number of additional offerings.
Trend Micro on the other hand proffers Titanium AntiVirus for $39.95 which is meant for installation on a PC, and $59.95 for installation on up to three PCs.
Titanium Internet Security comes at a price offering of $49,95 and $69.95 for single or multiple usage pattern.
